X-Y Force Sensor from Lebow is constructed of two strain gage bridges, mounted at 90º, isolated by a flexure system. The complete two-component system, including flexures, is machined from one specially prepared metal billet to provide unusual structure strength and to minimize crosstalk between the two transducers. This unique X-Y Force Sensor has excellent linearity characteristics and maximum structure life.
